How to Avoid Dropshipping Order Synchronization Failures?
Dear Dropshipping Users, Please Read the Following Cautions Carefully to Avoid Order Synchronization Failures
Shopify Store
- Do not modify the Vendor / Variants SKU / Variants Inventory
- HugePOD associates your product Variants through SKU codes and variant IDs. Please do not alter them!
- Ensure that "Inventory will be stocked at" is set to "ODMPOD"
- Make sure the Vendor is set to "ODMPOD"
Can Size Names Be Modified?
- It is recommended to maintain consistency. However, changing size names to enhance customer understanding, such as changing "S" to "Small," is permissible. However, do not change the actual size identifier; for example, do not change "S" to "M," as this will cause size mismatch issues.
Can Color Names Be Modified?
- You can slightly alter the color name, but the color name should accurately reflect the actual color of the product. For instance, if the original product you stocked was a blue shirt, do not change the color name from "Blue" to "Black."
Adding or Deleting Variants
- New Variants will not be automatically associated: If you add new Variants for color or size in the Shopify backend system, they will not be associated with our system's colors and order synchronization will not occur.
- Deleting Variants: Once you delete a Variant, the deleted Variant will no longer be associated with the system, and the association of the remaining Variants will not be affected.
- For example, if you had a Variant "Black; S" and you deleted it, the association will be lost.
- If you re-add a Variant "Black; S," the system will not consider this Variant as the original one, and orders for this Variant will not be synchronized.
Other Platforms (Etsy/Woocommerce/Squarespace/Wix...)
- Do not modify the SKU Code.
- HugePOD associates your product Variants through SKU codes and variant IDs. Changing the SKU Code may lead to a failure in matching.
